It is the first model after the "rebirth" of MV Agusta in 1997, which was presented as a special model limited to 300 pieces for the first time at the EICMA motorcycle fair in Milan in 1997 and built in 1999. The design of the F4 comes from the well-known motorcycle designer Massimo Tamburini , who among other things was also responsible for the Ducati 916/996 series.
